Semyon Malamud is an Associate Professor of Finance at EPFL and a Swiss Finance Institute. Senior Chair. He is a research fellow at the Bank for International Settlements and the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and a Lamfalussy Research Fellow of the European Central Bank. His research has received several awards, including the joint INQUIRE Europe/UK research prize, and the Dauphine-Amundi prize in Asset Management. In 2015, he received an ETF Research Academy award for developing the first equilibrium model of ETFs. Semyon has extensive experience working in the finance industry as a consultant for numerous investment management firms.
VisualStructure has developed fast parallel intelligent algorithms for solving complex optimisation problems based on their geometric structure. In addition, VisualStructure is currently in the process of obtaining two valuable patents in connection with the treatment, structuring, and visualisation of dynamic data coming out of our optimization algorithms.AtVisualStructure,we plan to first apply these technologies to structuring portfolios of complex financial derivatives.We are confident that Katalysen's expertise and experience in financial derivatives will allow us to make VisualStructure a leading Fintech player in this quickly developing field.
