IPO project

Katalysen Ventures AB (publ) ("Katalysen") and Manico AB ("Manico") have announced a venture development agreement to prepare for Manico's upcoming IPO, in addition to Katalysen exercising options and acquiring new shares worth SEK 925 950 in Manico.

Manico is a leading provider of cutting-edge software and hardware for educational purposes, with a proprietary software on touch screens that enables collaboration between multiple users at the same time. Manico serves a diverse range of clients, including schools, elderly homes, museums, hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, and more. Their recent growth has been strong, with sales increasing by 300% in the first quarter of 2023 (compared to same period 2022).

"Katalysen Ventures has been an important partner for us since our partnership began in April 2021," said Carl Hedsköld, CEO and founder of Manico. "Their strategic support has been invaluable in our pivot from a hardware provider to an edtech leader with a new business model based on recurring revenue from proprietary software. We are confident that with Katalysen's expertise, we can successfully navigate the IPO process and continue our growth trajectory."

Peter Almberg, CEO of Katalysen Ventures, added, "We are excited to continue our partnership with Manico and support them in their upcoming IPO. Our Venture Development model has proven successful, and we are confident that our support will help Manico achieve their goals and unlock even more value for their stakeholders."

The venture development agreement will provide Manico with the support and guidance needed to prepare for the IPO, including assistance with establishing appropriate company infrastructure related to financial reporting, compliance, and regulations. The agreement also includes ongoing strategic support from Katalysen Ventures beyond the IPO process, ensuring Manico's continued success in the future.

Katalysen Ventures' decision to exercise options to acquire additional shares in Manico demonstrates their confidence in the company's future growth and success. The total value of the options exercised by Katalysen Ventures is SEK 925 950. This move will allow Katalysen Ventures to further participate in the company's future potential.
