Katalysen Strengthens Its Team with Strategic Appointment

Katalysen is pleased to announce that Daniel Hill has joined the firm as Investor Relations & Corporate Finance Lead.

Daniel brings more than 25 years of experience in capital markets, with a background spanning investment banking, asset management, venture capital, private equity, and financial services consulting. His diverse expertise and strategic insight will further strengthen Katalysen’s capabilities in engaging with investors and supporting portfolio growth.

Daniel began his career at Erik Penser Fondkommission, where he developed a strong foundation in capital markets. He subsequently moved into venture capital, gaining early hands-on experience in evaluating and supporting emerging companies. He later transitioned into management consulting, advising banks, asset managers, and private equity firms.

His career path led him to Nordea Bank and its institutional wealth management division, Nordea Asset Management, where he played a key role in business development initiatives and the evaluation of strategic opportunities as part of the firm’s general management.

In recent years, Daniel has returned to his core passion—supporting and developing early-stage growth companies within the European venture capital ecosystem. Today, he combines deep capital markets expertise with hands-on work in investor relations and corporate finance, helping companies strengthen investor engagement while contributing to capital strategy and M&A initiatives.
