Peter Almberg, Working Chairman
Shares owned in Company: 878 651Peter is a life-long entrepreneur who has founded, grown, and exited multiple companies across a wide range of sectors. Between 1983 and 1995 he played a defining role in the emergence of what is today known as fintech, launching early pioneers such as Utvecklings AB Servisen (now part of Fidelity IS), Servisen Optimating AB, and QT Optec AG. These ventures introduced new concepts within automation, research, and algorithmic trading, helping lay the foundations for modern electronic financial markets.
From 1995 to 2002, Peter applied his entrepreneurial mindset to the music industry, supporting its transition into the digital era. Between 2003 and 2015 his focus returned to fintech, where he supported SMEs and a small-cap stock exchange in developing corporate finance and financial infrastructure.
Taken together, these experiences shaped Peter into a seasoned venture builder with deep insight into both technology and business evolution. Katalysen was born out of this accumulated expertise and reflects his ambition to continue creating meaningful value for partners through active, hands-on venture development.

Anders Dahlgren, CEO
Shares owned in Company: 43 779After earning an MBA from the University of Gothenburg (School of Business, Economics and Law), Anders began his professional journey at Handelsbanken in 2006, followed by three years at Deloitte as an accountant. A turning point came when he discovered the world of venture building, which inspired him to found his first company, a digital media consultancy, and set his career on an entrepreneurial path.
Over the next nine years, Anders exited his first venture, founded additional companies, and gained diverse experience from the many stages of building and scaling young businesses. His roles have included Founder, Growth Manager, CFO, and CEO, giving him a broad and practical understanding of what drives successful organizations.
Anders has a strong interest in entrepreneurship, teams, and organizational development, and he enjoys working hands-on with planning, structuring, and growing business ideas. He joined Katalysen in early 2023, where he combines operational leadership with a passion for helping companies navigate critical stages of development.

Tobias Mathiasen, Venture Partner
Tobias is a venture partner with a decade of experience working at the intersection of startups, finance, and cross-border strategy. His journey began with an early attempt at mobile e-commerce in high school, a failed experiment that sparked a curiosity for how ideas scale across cultures and how technology spreads globally. This curiosity led him to study business throughout Hong Kong, Beijing, and Taiwan, and later to roles in Dublin and Hong Kong advising founders and international investors on positioning, fundraising, and market expansion.Since 2019, Tobias has contributed to Katalysen’s evolution into an active, collaborative investment firm. As Venture Partner – and previously as COO – he has worked across the full portfolio of 24+ companies, supported new deal origination, led strategic and operational initiatives, and helped execute the company’s IPO on Spotlight Stock Market. He played a central role in designing the Venture Targeter investment framework, building international investor networks, and supporting founders in deeptech, diagnostics, fintech, and real-time tracking technologies.
Today, based between Kyoto and Stockholm, Tobias focuses on strengthening Katalysen’s global reach, developing international partnerships, and supporting ventures on strategy, fundraising, and cross-border expansion.

Per Järnebring, Venture Partner
Per is a curious and passionate enabler with more than 30 years of international experience in entrepreneurship, operations, and sales. His career has largely taken place in industrial product environments, where he has provided hands-on leadership, technical sales expertise, and market development support to help companies navigate complexity and create sustainable commercial value.Over the course of three decades, Per has co-founded more than ten companies and participated in six M&A processes, initiating four of them. His journey includes founding MIB Sun & Safety AB in 1990, later acquired by Bekaert Specialty Films; leading Solar Gard/Bekaert between 2000 and 2007, where he expanded into new regions and doubled sales; and serving as CEO of EWF Eco AB from 2008 to 2024. At EWF, he built the Bigbelly Smart Waste solution from zero to more than 350 municipal customers across the Nordics, expanded into eight markets, ensured consistent profitability, and guided the company to its acquisition by Sustainion Group AB.
Alongside his operational roles, Per has invested as both founder and angel investor in companies such as EAASY Europe, Dolprop Industries, Drye, and Demontera, and he is today a shareholder in Katalysen. His wide-ranging experience has shaped him into a skilled venture builder with a strong ability to position technical products, orchestrate market entry, and build long-term, trust-based relationships that drive meaningful value creation.

Oscar Chröisty, Venture Partner
Oscar has spent the past seven years advising leadership teams on strategy, M&A, and organizational development, helping companies navigate complex decisions and position themselves for long-term success. Before founding his own practice, he served at Monitor Deloitte in Stockholm, where he led the firm’s Financial Services Industry group and supported clients through high-stakes strategic and transactional challenges. His earlier career included analytical work at a commercial bank in San Francisco, giving him early exposure to international finance and cross-border business dynamics.
These experiences have shaped Oscar into a pragmatic and trusted strategic partner with a strong ability to bridge analytical rigor and real-world execution. His work reflects a commitment to guiding teams through pivotal moments, whether in corporate transformation or investment processes.
Outside of work, Oscar channels his competitive energy into sports. With a background as a professional athlete in both football and bandy, he now divides his time between his division 7 football team and family game nights, where he remains equally determined to win, even at fia-med-knuff.

Andreas Dahlén, Apollonian
Andreas is the Investment Director and co-founder of Apollonian. He brings extensive experience from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, where he led the establishment of RESAVER, the first multi-country and multi-employer pension fund in Europe. Before his work in Brussels, he served as Head of European and External Affairs for the Åland Government and as Vice-President of a major European political party. His career combines deep policy expertise with a long-standing commitment to European institutional development. -
Christian Holmer, Holmer Consulting
Christian has held senior executive roles at several of the world’s leading healthcare companies, including MSD (Merck), Pfizer, and Abbott Laboratories. His positions have included SVP and Head of Strategy for Emerging Markets at MSD, CEO for Pfizer in Russia and the CIS, and Head of International Marketing at Abbott Diagnostics, overseeing operations across Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. He has managed P&Ls exceeding USD 1.8 billion and led teams of more than 3,000 employees. His track record reflects a career dedicated to building international healthcare businesses at scale. -
Carl Christopher Tornblom, Tyson & Blake
Chris is Chair of Tyson & Blake, an investment and advisory group focused on growth-stage companies. He has deep experience in global financial markets and has been instrumental in multiple public listings. As CEO of Metacon AB, he took the company public in 2018, expanded its shareholder base from a few hundred to more than 20,000, and helped grow its valuation from roughly USD 5 million to USD 265 million by early 2021. He serves on several boards and is strongly committed to philanthropic work. Chris has lived and worked across the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and South Africa, and is educated at Shenandoah University and the Graduate School of Business Administration in Zurich.

Alexander Lipton
Alexander is Co-founder of Sila and Investimizer, Partner at Numeraire Financial, Professor and Dean’s Fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a Connection Science Fellow at MIT. He previously spent a decade as Co-Head of the Global Quantitative Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and earlier held senior quantitative leadership roles at Citadel Investment Group, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and Bankers Trust. Edward is a serial inventor and entrepreneur who founded his first venture at age 13. He worked at NeXT and Apple in the 1980s, and later served as Chief Architect at Microsoft, where he led major initiatives in web platforms, semantic technologies, intelligent operating systems, adaptive user interfaces, and AI. In 2000 he co-founded Intellectual Ventures with Nathan Myhrvold, building the world’s largest invention fund with more than USD 7 billion in assets under management. Jonas Mårtenson
Jonas is the founder of Resscapital AB, a regulated alternative investment fund manager. He has an extensive background in international finance, having worked in fund management and investment banking roles across Switzerland, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. During his time in London, he held positions at Schroders, Bear Stearns, and Merrill Lynch, specializing in OTC derivatives sales and the structuring of derivative products for European institutional investors. Jonas holds an M.Sc. in International Finance from the School of Economics at the University of Gothenburg, and brings a deep understanding of global capital markets and institutional asset management.
